Privacy Policy for Hold

Effective date: October 6, 2026

This policy describes information handled by Hold on Android and iOS. The game stores a player profile and game progress on the device and uses an online leaderboard, analytics, diagnostics, advertising, and in-app purchases.

Accounts

Hold does not offer registration, sign-in, or user accounts. The app assigns an internal player ID for the online leaderboard; this ID is not a login credential.

Information stored on your device

Hold stores a player profile that can include a display name, a built-in avatar selection, an optional country code, game records, and achievement progress. The app also stores game continuation and purchase entitlement state needed to provide the game features.

Online leaderboard

If you use the leaderboard, Hold sends an internal player ID, display name, avatar selection, optional country code, and your best game result with its date to Firebase Cloud Firestore. This information is shown in the global leaderboard to other Hold players. Firebase processes and stores this information on the app developer’s behalf.

Analytics and diagnostics

Hold uses Firebase Analytics to record app and gameplay events, such as starting or finishing a game, game duration and outcome, and opening the profile or leaderboard. The app may send technical and error information to Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose failures and improve stability.

Advertising

The Android version uses Appodeal mediation. The iOS version currently uses Yandex Mobile Ads. These services and any enabled advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and network information, diagnostics, and ad impressions or interactions. The data involved depends on the platform, advertising partners enabled for the app, and your device privacy settings. Purchases

Optional extra attempts and day passes are purchased through Google Play Billing on Android or StoreKit on iOS. The stores process payment details. Hold stores local purchase state to provide the purchased feature; the app does not receive your full payment card details.

Time service

Hold may request a time reference from TimeAPI.io using a time-zone parameter. As with any network request, the service can receive standard connection information such as your IP address. See the TimeAPI privacy notice.

Data retention

Profile and game data remains on your device while app data is present. Clearing the app data or uninstalling Hold removes the local data, subject to your device’s backup settings.

Leaderboard entries are stored separately in Firebase Cloud Firestore and are not linked to a sign-in account. Clearing local app data or uninstalling Hold does not remove an entry already submitted to the leaderboard. Hold currently has no in-app account or leaderboard deletion feature.

Firebase, Appodeal, Yandex, Apple, Google, and their advertising partners handle information under their own privacy notices and retention practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app’s features or services change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
